Ryan Nielson, PGA

Head Golf Professional

Ryan is a PGA Class A Member and is the head golf professional at Falcon Crest Golf Course for the last 9 years. Played his collegiate golf at Idaho State University. He was the 2014 Idaho Open Champion and has shot a career best of 64 on the Falcon Crest course.

Ryan charges $80/hour for lessons or you can buy a series of 5 for $320

Paul Weyland

2018 Rocky Mountain PGA Section Teacher of the Year

Paul coaches adults and juniors of all ages and abilities. He is a PGA Member, Level 3 Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Certified Golf Pro and Level 3 TPI Certified Junior Coach. Paul is also Swing Catalyst Certified and Level three K Motion 3D Certified. Paul utilizes technology such as TrackMan in his coaching to quickly diagnose ball flight issues and give drills/feels to quickly improve his students.

His passion for golf has resulted in numerous awards for his golf instruction and coaching including a nomination for the top 50 instructor list, awarded Golf Digest Best of State, and selected by his peers as the 2018 Rocky Mountain PGA Section Teacher of the Year. Paul’s greatest pleasure is not just helping you improve your game. It’s helping you improve your life by feeling better and playing better golf.

Sam Jacobson

Assistant Golf Professional

Sam is an associate professional in the PGA program. He has worked at Falcon Crest for 5 years.

Sam charges $40.00 for an hour long lesson, and $160.00 for series of 5 lessons.

Falcon Crest Junior Golf

Programs Offered:
junior_golf
Junior League – 10 week non-competitive league for all ages. Students will be grouped by age and skill level. This program includes weekly tips, prizes and on course experience on the Robin Hood Golf Course.

Junior Golf Clinics –  These classes are an hour long, focusing on the fundamentals, full swing and the short game. All classes are open to any skill level. Clubs will be available for those that do not own a set.

Summer Junior Camp – Summer camps are open to students age 7-15. This camp is designed to introduce golf motion to junior golfers and to prepare them to play on their own. SNAG golf will be the curriculum taught to beginners while the PGA Junior Academy curriculum will be taught to those with experience. Students will receive a boxed lunch each day.
